13 "Genetic Superheroes" Could Help The Human Kind To Defeat Disieases

Maybe you are one them? Scientists believe that there are 13 people on this planet that could help the human kind to defeat all diseases, sicknesses and illnesses?
They are called “genetic superheroes”, because they remain healthy even tho they carry genetic mutations that lead to all kind of human health disorders. No, we aren’t talking about X-man or anything to that, we’re talking about actual and very real human beings that live among us. Those 13 humans have genetic disorders which lead to all kinds of human health disorders, even in their early childhood, but for some reason those carriers didn’t developed any kind of sickness, disease or illness – the only problem is that the doctors can’t find them.
Scientists hope that with the help of those “genetic superheroes” they can discover the way of how those genetic mutations work, which further more can lead to new methods of healing treatments. They studied the genetic code of over 589.000 people, to find out the ones with genetic disorders that usually lead to sickness developments. Those 13 persons have genetic disorders, but they don’t get sick. They found 13 healthy people who should have developed one of eight genetic diseases: cystic fibrosis, Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome, familial dysautonomia, epidermolysis bullosa simplex, Pfeiffer syndrome, autoimmune polyendocrinopathy syndrome, acampomelic campomelic dysplasia and atelosteogenesis.

“Many genetic researches are focused on the causes of the human health disorders, but we see an opportunity in discovering the cause of what helps people remain healthy. Millions of years of evolution led to development of many sorts of defense mechanisms that we yet don’t understand”, Prof. Eric Schadt, co-founder of project “Resilience” said.
“If we succeed in finding those 13 people, we will be way too close to discovering natural ways of human health disorder prevention”, Stephen Friend, second founder of project “Resilience” said.

The scientists will try to find those 13 “genetic superheroes” and convince them to participate in the research so that way they will help the human race in the fight with many dangerous and even terminal diseases, sicknesses and illnesses.
