I’ve suggested quite a number of movies so far, but I think, (not that it was intentional tho) that the sci-fi genre wasn’t quite often among those. I give you the movie that i watched recently, and even tho it doesn’t have high scores, I found it quite entertaining, exciting and thrilling. Battleship (2012), may be one of those “good-for-one-time-watching”, but you will spend entire time watching it. The plot might not be mind blowing at all, but the overall experience was pretty good. This is an action, adventure, sci-fi, PG-13 rating movie.

Lt. Alex Hopper is a weapons officer aboard the destroyer USS John Paul Jones, while his older brother, Stone, is the commanding officer of the USS Sampson. A naval military war games practice that was supposed to be a parade with waving and flags on which forces from all over the world demonstrate their arsenal, an unexpected confrontation happens. Unknown to Alex, Stone or the rest of the U.S. Navy, the confrontation knocks out the Navy’s radar capability.
