Frailty (2001)

So many good movies that I’ve seen, that I have a hard time of choosing which one to pick. This time, without a sweat I decided to go for Frailty (2001) (not because it was a tight choice, but because I didn’t thought of it earlier). As you know, there are good horror movies and there are great horror movies. With the really great horror movies, sometimes they are released to such an immediate impact that they become instant classics, such as The Shining, The Ring, The Sixth Sense, etc. However, sometimes those great horror films take some time to get noticed and develop to become horror classics more quietly, by say word of mouth. Frailty is such a movie.

Set in present day Texas, “Frailty” centers on the FBI’s search for a serial killer who calls himself “God’s Hands.” Fenton Meeks, a young man who approaches the lead investigator, one night, claiming he knows the identity of the killer. He tells a story of how his religious fanatic father’s visions lead to a series of murders to destroy supposed “demons.” The FBI agent is curious, but unimpressed until Fenton reveals that the killer is…
