When I watched this movie for the first time, I was just a kid, not even a teenager, and I remember how this movie ‘glued’ me to the TV. And just recently, while surfing on the web, I ran into it once again, and memories were awoken. Misery (1990) is one of those movies that excell with brilliant acting performance, script and camera. And what less could you expect from a Stephen King novel? Now, this movie might is pretty old today, but age means nothing when it comes to a great enteratainment.

Best-selling novelist Paul Sheldon is on his way home from his Colorado hideaway after completing his latest book, when he crashes his car in a blizzard. Paul is critically injured, but is rescued by former nurse Annie Wilkes, Paul’s “number one fan”, who takes Paul back to her remote house in the mountains (without bothering to tell anybody).
