REVIEW – ZEISS MILVUS 85MM F/1.4 T

Dustin Abbot has completed the Canon Rumors review of the Zeiss Milvus 85mm f/1.4 T*. As with all Zeiss releases, we wonder if the inconvenience of manual focus can be ignored for great optics at a fair price.
By now those of you at Canon Rumors are familiar with the Zeiss conundrum. Amazing optics, beautiful lens designs, and the sense of using a finely crafted precision instrument. But all of that goodness comes at a price, both in price (high) and weight (heavy), and, simply put, many photographers couldn’t be bothered with anything without autofocus. But chances are you already knew these things, and, if the price, size, and manual-focus-only function of the Milvus doesn’t put you off, then probably nothing else will.
