I was surfing the net, fishing for them underrated movies, that deserve the attention, but are for one reason or another left out, and in the comments of an certain topic I red this name – Seven Psychopaths (2012). The name sounds interesting, you’d agree, but I was having second thoughts until I finally decided to see it. Boy was I wrong for doubting it in the first place. This movie is an extraordinary piece, a type, a genre if you will, like some of very well known movies like Snatch (2000), or Lock, Stock and Two smoking Barrels (1998). The movie itself is so well written and directed that while you are watching it, moments of realization as well as a ‘wtf?!’ moments will be on every step of the way. I also loved the humor, of the many ‘awkward’ situations. This is a crime / comedy movie, with few gore/explicit scenes, with a hell of an elite cast.

Boozy writer Marty is a man in search of a screenplay. He has a catchy title but no story to go along with it. Marty has a couple of oddball buddies, Hans and Billy, who make a living by kidnapping rich people’s dogs, then returning them and collecting the reward. However this time, the fur flies when Hans and Billy kidnap the beloved pooch of a gangster, and Marty uses the ensuing events as fodder for his screenplay…
