The Czech manufacturer finally revealed the first sneak-peak photos of the new Kodiaq SUV modelon which we can see the details of the first model of the brand that intends to compete in higher classes.
Chaises design is standard for the Skoda models and the details irresistibly remind of the new Superb, which is not at all a bad thing. You can notice the great look in particular on the front and rear lights, which have almost both aggressive and attractive design, which aligns perfectly with the angle design of the entire chaises.

Aside of the great look of the exterior, Skoda is also proud of Kodiaq’s interior as well, which according to them, will offer high levels of comfort and the largest trunk in that class with the 720 liters, and 2,065 liters with putting the second row of seats down respectively. With additional charge, you may add a third row of seats which is a feat that rarely can be offered by any other model from that class.

The dashboard of course, will be equipped with the latest technology such as large touch display, which will support the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink connections. This will be one of the first models with semi-autonomous driving function with attached trailer, which will assist the driver with holding the line of direction.

Motorization will comprise the same Superb engines, 2.0 TDI diesel with 150 and 190 hp, 1.4 TSI petrol engine with 125 and 150 hp and 2.0 TSI petrol engine with 180 hp to be more precise. All engines come with a manual gearbox with six degrees, and with an additional charge you can get automatic DSG also with six degrees. The basic model will have front-wheel drive, but the more powerful engines will be available with all-wheel drive.
The Skoda Kodiaq is expected to cost from around £24,000 when sales begin in January.
