Let me tell you something – “Batman vs Superman” had a low critics reviews but audience loved it, “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” on the other hand… go figure. But this little piece of art, is only  really, tottaly, particulary something awesome. I’m talking about the re-work of Douglas Adams’s novel from the 1979 – “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy”. The best way I can describe this work of art is “a pile of rubbish and stupidity, folded in such a manner, that the result is magnificent.” It’s like that “he’s-so-ugly-that-he’s-actually-cute” saying. When I watched this movie for the first time, I was about to turn it off when it’s brilliance struck me. The comedy in this movie is THAT good!!

Arthur Dent is having a very bad day. His house is about to be bulldozed, and he discovers that his best friend is an alien — but to top things off, Planet Earth is about to be demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass. Arthur’s only chance for survival is to hitch a ride on a passing spacecraft. For the novice space traveler, the greatest adventure in the universe begins when the world ends. Arthur sets out on a journey in which he finds that nothing is as it seems: he learns that a towel is just the most useful thing in the universe, finds the meaning of life, and discovers that everything he needs to know can be found in one book – The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
