The rover “Curiosity”,that NASA is using to explore the planet Mars recorded a spectacular view. The ‘red plant’ ain’t that red after all, and judging by this recording, you can barely even tell the difference from Earth. The panoramic 360 degree view shows the Murray formation, that is made from layers of mud, on the spot where used to be a lake, and judging by the video, it looks like it was taken somewhere on earth.
This view was taken on August 5th, four years after the rover “Curiosity” landed on Mars. The rover was sent on Mars to “confirm if the conditions of the ‘Red planet’ were ever suitable for a micro-bacterial life”, and now is exploring the lower parts of the mountain Sharp.
