The Luxurious Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept
The German car maker released three teasers on social media, announcing the unveiling of the car at the prestigious event held on the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey County, California. As expected, it carries a familiar shape, adopting streamlined silhouette, similar to that of other Mercedes concepts, including the 2004 Maybach Excelero, the Vision Grand Turismo, and even the IAA Concept.
It’s unknown (yet) what powers the behemoth, but the pictures show a long, elongated, split hood – reminiscent of the old, bespoke coachbuilds. The entire front fascia is governed by a gaping wide chrome grille with vertical slats, flanked by a pair of slim LED headlights. The cabin, secluded by two gullwing doors, appears to be a technological sanctuary, sheltering the occupants from the outside world.
