Wild Tales (2014)
Oh boy, do I have a movie for you for this weekend. This movie is from Argentina (great job you guys!) and is one of my personal favorites. I advice you to spend 2 hours on this masterpiece, and I guarantee you an emotional roller-coaster of a sort that without a solace of a doubt you’ve ever rode before. Wild Tales (2014) sharpened all of my emotions and I literally experienced all of them almost at same time – joy, laughter, sadness, shock, fear, stress, satisfaction, frustration. You name it – it did it.
It’s kind of hard to make a small intro of what this movie is about, because it is a composition of six different short stories completely unrelated one to another, that explore the extremities of human behavior involving people in distress. But what I can say for sure, and still not spoil the movie for you is this – no matter how you try, you won’t guess the outcome. So don’t even bother, just enjoy the ride!
